Designing and solving for everyday life is the goal for this small interior project. The client has just moved into their new small rental apartment and started their life. They needed a layout to their bedroom and also a designated transitional space (Mudroom) at the entrance for the rest of the house to stay clean and organized.
We took their colourful personality and their love for vintage retro furniture to make a unique bedroom to cherish. We incorporated bold fabric, texture, and art to the bedroom. We created a functioning floor plan for their bedroom where they are able to rest and also integrate a designated space where they can also work from home.
The entrance was kept simple with built- in shelves for their everyday use for coats and shoes along with a mirror. Having a proper transitional space to put your outside clothes and shoes away is really important to stay clean and healthy. Everything is thoughtfully designed with daily needs and tasks in mind.
